Description

Bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers stuffed with seasoned cream cheese and air fried at 370°F for 8 minutes. Crisp bacon, molten cheese filling, and no breading or deep frying required.

Ingredients

  • 5 large jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise and deseeded
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 cup breadcrumbs, optional
  • 5 slices bacon, cut in half crosswise

Instructions

  • Halve the jalapeños lengthwise and scrape out the seeds and white membranes. Wear gloves.
  • In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, breadcrumbs, parsley, onion powder, and garlic powder until fully combined and smooth.
  • Spoon the filling into each jalapeño half, filling to just below the rim.
  • Wrap each stuffed half with a half slice of bacon, overlapping slightly, and tuck the end underneath.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 370°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the poppers in the basket in a single layer, cheese side up, without crowding.
  • Air fry at 370°F for 6 to 8 minutes, until the bacon is crisp and browned. Add up to 2 minutes if needed.
  • Rest 3 to 5 minutes before serving. The filling will be extremely hot.
