Ingredients
1lbboneless, skinless chicken breast,, cut into bite-sized pieces
¼cupall-purpose flour, or 1:1 gluten-free flour
½tspgarlic powder
½tsponion powder
½tsppaprika
½tspkosher salt
¼tspblack pepper
½cupBBQ sauce, store-bought or homemade Guava BBQ Sauce
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 2–3 minutes. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Toss the chicken pieces in the seasoned flour to coat lightly, then shake off the excess.
Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with oil. Add the chicken in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Brush the BBQ sauce over the bites. Return to the air fryer and cook 2–3 more minutes, until the sauce is sticky, caramelized, and the chicken is golden brown. Serve immediately.
