Ingredients
2boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Olive oil spray, or cooking spray
1tspgarlic powder
1tsponion powder
½tspsmoked paprika
¼tspcayenne pepper, optional, to taste
½tspkosher salt
¼tspblack pepper
1cupBBQ sauce, about ½ cup for coating, ½ cup for serving
Instructions
Lightly spray or brush the chicken breasts with oil. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper, then season the chicken on both sides.
Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 370°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F at the thickest part.
Brush BBQ sauce over the chicken and air fry for 1–2 more minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized.
