Description

Juicy, tender Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Breast with a sticky, caramelized barbecue glaze — ready in about 20 minutes. A simple seasoning blend and your favorite BBQ sauce make this an easy weeknight dinner the whole family will love.

Ingredients 

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Olive oil spray, or cooking spray
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, optional, to taste
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce, about ½ cup for coating, ½ cup for serving

Instructions

  • Lightly spray or brush the chicken breasts with oil. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper, then season the chicken on both sides.
  • Place the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 370°F for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F at the thickest part.
  • Brush BBQ sauce over the chicken and air fry for 1–2 more minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized.
  • Let the chicken rest a few minutes, then serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes
