Description

Air fryer cinnamon sugar pretzels are a sweet-and-salty snack made with just four ingredients. Store-bought pretzels are tossed in a coconut-oil cinnamon sugar coating and air fried until crisp — ready in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup coconut oil, melted (or melted butter)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 15 ounces pretzels, any shape

Instructions

  • Add the coconut oil to a large microwave-safe bowl and heat until melted. Stir well.
  • Add the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to the melted oil and mix until combined. Add the pretzels and toss until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the pretzels to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 4 to 6 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon, cool on a wire rack for a few minutes so the coating sets, then serve warm.

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Slotted Spoon
  • Wire cooling rack
  • Air fryer parchment liner (optional)

Notes

  • Cook in batches if needed — a crowded basket steams instead of crisps.
  • Swap melted butter for coconut oil for a richer flavor.
  • Use gluten-free pretzels to make this gluten-free.
  • Store airtight at room temperature 2–3 days; re-crisp in the air fryer for 1–2 minutes.
