Description

Easy Air Fryer Honey Lemon Salmon is sweet, tangy, and keto-friendly — crispy on the outside, flaky inside, and ready in under 15 minutes with no flipping required.

Ingredients 

  • 2 salmon fillets, about 5 ounces each
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce, or tamari/coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges for serving
  • Fresh dill or parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Make the glaze: Whisk together the honey, lemon juice, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Warm the honey slightly if it's too thick to mix.
  • Season: Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Marinate: Spoon the glaze over the fillets and let sit 15–30 minutes (no longer).
  • Preheat: Heat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Air fry: Place fillets in a single layer in the basket without crowding. Cook 7–10 minutes depending on thickness. No flipping needed.
  • Check: Salmon is done at 145°F (63°C) and when it flakes easily.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh dill or parsley and lemon wedges.

  • Keto/low-sugar: Swap honey for a sugar-free honey alternative to cut carbs.
  • Don't over-marinate — the lemon's acid will soften the texture past 30 minutes.

  • Store leftovers up to 2 days; reheat gently in the air fryer at 320°F for 3–4 minutes.
