Description

This is one of the best and easiest dinners you can make in the air fryer. Tender, flaky Air Fryer Lemon Dijon Salmon comes together in 20 minutes with just five main ingredients and a bright lemon-garlic-Dijon glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets, about 5–8 ounces each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or room-temperature butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon ground thyme, or parsley
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and thyme.
  • Spread about half of the mixture over the salmon fillets and season with salt and pepper.
  • Lightly spray your air fryer basket or tray, then place the salmon skin-side down inside.
  • Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 5 to 7 minutes, until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Spread the remaining sauce over the salmon and garnish with lemon slices or wedges.
  • Let rest 2 minutes, then plate, serve, and enjoy!

Equipment

  • Small mixing bowl
  • Instant-read thermometer

Notes

  • Every air fryer cooks differently — check at 5 minutes and adjust.
  • For frozen salmon, add 3 to 5 minutes and confirm 145°F internal temperature.
  • Pull at 125–130°F for a softer, restaurant-style center.
