Description

Crispy air fryer loaded waffle fries topped with melted cheddar, bacon, and all your favorite toppings. Ready in 20 minutes and the best game day snack there is.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces frozen waffle fries
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup black olives, sliced
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup guacamole
  • ¼ cup salsa
  • ¼ cup tomatoes, diced
  • ¼ cup jalapeño peppers, sliced
  • ¼ cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  • Spread the frozen waffle fries in the basket in a single layer. Air fry for 10 minutes.
  • Shake the basket or flip the fries with tongs. Air fry 3 to 4 minutes more, until deep golden and crisp.
  • Tip the fries into a bowl, toss immediately with the kosher salt, and return to the basket.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar over the fries. Air fry 2 to 3 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted.
  • Transfer to a platter. Top with bacon, olives, tomatoes, and jalapeños, then finish with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cook in batches if the fries don't fit in a single layer.
  • Cold toppings go on after the fries leave the air fryer, never before.
