Crispy, golden air fryer shake and bake pork chops with a juicy, tender interior — an easy family dinner ready in about 20 minutes with almost no cleanup.
Ingredients
4bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
1packet Shake and Bake coating mix, or ~1 cup homemade
Cooking spray or olive oil, for misting
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 2–3 minutes.
Pat the pork chops dry. Pour the coating into a zip-top bag or shallow bowl and coat each chop on both sides, pressing the breading on and shaking off the excess.
Place the chops in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between them. Mist the tops with oil, covering any dry patches.
Air fry at 400°F for 12–14 minutes, flipping halfway and misting the second side. Start checking thinner or boneless chops around 9 minutes.
Cook until a thermometer reads 145°F in the thickest part. Rest 3 minutes, then serve.
