Description

Savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and melty cheddar under crispy golden tater tots — a comforting breakfast bake made entirely in the air fryer. Perfect for holiday mornings, weekend brunch, or an easy breakfast-for-dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 8 large eggs
  • ¾ cup half and half
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 pound frozen tater tots

Instructions

  • In a small skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage, breaking it into crumbles, until no longer pink. Drain the grease and set aside.
  • Lightly spray an air-fryer-safe baking dish with cooking oil. Spread the sausage in an even layer over the bottom.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs, half and half, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour over the sausage and top with the shredded cheddar.
  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese — do not submerge them. Air fry at 360°F for 10–15 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
