Crispy air fryer cannellini beans made from one can of white beans, a little olive oil, and whatever seasoning you like. Ready in 15 minutes, with the drying step that actually makes them crunch.
Ingredients
15ouncescanned cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
2teaspoonsolive oil
1teaspoonseasoning of choice, smoked paprika, garlic powder, ranch, or salt and pepper
Instructions
Drain the cannellini beans in a colander and rinse under cold water until the water runs clear.
Spread the beans in a single layer on a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Pat the tops dry and let them sit for 10 minutes.
Transfer the dried beans to a bowl and toss with the olive oil until lightly coated. Hold the seasoning until after cooking.
Spread the beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking every 4 to 5 minutes, until golden, wrinkled, and rattling in the basket.
Toss the hot beans with your seasoning immediately, then let them cool 5 minutes before serving — they crisp further as they cool.
