Description

This easy air fryer blueberry cobbler bakes up warm and bubbly with juicy berries under a soft, golden topping — a quick, comforting dessert made entirely in the air fryer.

Ingredients

For the blueberry filling:

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

For the cobbler topping:

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, stir together the blueberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and lemon zest until the berries are coated. Let sit for 10 minutes to release their juices.
  • In a second bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir just until a smooth batter forms.
  • Grease an air-fryer-safe baking dish or pan. Spread the blueberry mixture evenly across the bottom.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the blueberries, spreading slightly. It does not need to be even.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Place the dish in the basket and air fry for 18–22 minutes, until the topping is golden brown, the filling is bubbling, and a toothpick inserted into the topping comes out clean.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Equipment

Notes

  • Use fresh or frozen blueberries; for frozen, add 2–3 extra minutes and do not thaw first.
  • If the topping browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil for the rest of the cook time.
  • Store leftovers airtight in the fridge for 4–5 days, or freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Air fryers vary — start checking for doneness at 18 minutes.
