Crispy breakfast sausage links and patties cooked in the Ninja Crispi in under 10 minutes. No preheating, no skillet, and no grease spatter — just evenly browned sausage with a glass container that rinses clean.
Ingredients
6fresh breakfast sausage links, about 12 oz
1tbspwater, for the bottom of the container
Instructions
Place the crisper plate in the glass container. Add 1 tablespoon of water underneath the plate to prevent rendered fat from smoking.
Arrange the sausage links in a single layer on the crisper plate, spaced so they are not touching.
Attach the PowerPod and select Air Fry. On the Crispi Pro, set the temperature to 390°F. Set the timer for 9 minutes.
At the 5-minute mark, lift the container and turn each link with tongs. Return and resume cooking.
Check the internal temperature at the thickest point. Pork sausage is done at 160°F; chicken or turkey sausage at 165°F. Add 1 to 2 minutes if needed.
Rest 2 minutes, then serve. Pour off the rendered fat while it is still warm.
Equipment
Ninja Crispi PowerPod
6-cup or 2.5-qt CleanCrisp glass container
Crisper plate
Tongs
Instant-read thermometer
Notes
Frozen links: Add 3 minutes. No need to thaw.
Patties: Reduce to 7 to 9 minutes, flipping at 4 minutes. Flatten to about ⅜ inch thick.
Fully cooked links: 4 to 6 minutes on Air Fry is plenty.
Leftovers: Refrigerate up to 4 days in the same glass container. Reheat 3 minutes on Recrisp.
Do not skip the crisper plate. Without it the sausage sits in rendered fat and the undersides steam instead of browning.
